Position: Manager, eCommerce Content

Department: Marketing

Work Location: Boston, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.

What you will be doing:

The Manager of eCommerce Content is responsible for ensuring that Helen of Troy's beauty brands offer the best brand and shopping experience for consumers who are looking to learn about our products online.

This role calls for a strong blend of critical thinking, creativity, and attention to detail. You will own website updates for brands like Hot Tools and Revlon while also driving the creation of educational blog content, website copy, and SEO optimization across all Beauty Direct to Consumer websites. The Manager, eCommerce Content reports to the Sr. Manager of eCommerce for Beauty and will collaborate with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Brand Marketing, Creative teams, and IT.

  • Responsible for website content updates and management to provide a flawless experience for direct to consumer beauty brands. This includes seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and customer journey optimizations.
  • Partner with Brand to develop and publish new consumer-friendly content that aligns with consumer interests to grow organic search.
  • Partner with IT to communicate WordPress website bugs and requests for site improvements.
  • Build and optimize SEO-friendly educational blog content.
  • Develop and maintain SEO-friendly copy across the websites in the tone of each respective brand.
  • Project manage timeline of content development across internal partners.
  • Conceptualize, maintain, and grow the email program for Hot Tools and Revlon.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects at once.
  • Flexible and responsive to change.
  • Communication skills, clear and concise in both written and verbal communication.
  • SEO-rich copywriting for direct-to-consumer brands
  • The ability to stay ahead of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability and interest to learn recent technology solutions.
  • Enthusiastic about the consumer with a strong curiosity about understanding and driving user behavior.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Positive collaborator and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, partnership, and lead a fast-paced environment.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ Years professional work experience in marketing and/or ecommerce of highly visible online customer experiences.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices
  • Experience working on websites that use a content management system (Magento, Shopify
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
