Job Summary:
The Manager Compliance and Sustainability will be a member of the company's Compliance Department and will report to the Director, Investigations and Privacy and will 1) manage the US Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Sustainability initiatives and partner with colleagues in Japan and at US affiliates to accomplish the company's ESG goals 2) support the Director of Privacy to ensure compliance with California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other privacy regulations; and 3) support various components of the company's corporate compliance program including policies, training, communication, and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Manage and Support US Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Sustainability Initiatives and Program including managing the ESG sustainability initiatives in the US and ensuring the promotion and awareness of the global Corporate Conduct Charter, working with management from each US affiliate in creating practice tracker, collecting and reporting ESG data, proposing and promoting sustainability initiatives supporting due diligence efforts under the company's human rights policy, and supporting data collection for global health management and access to healthcare programs. Develop e-learning and other educational programs to promote sustainability initiatives.
Serve as Liaison to Sustainability Promotion Department in Tokyo and within US affiliates including arranging and attending global sustainability meetings; developing quarterly reports, supporting global websites and value report, arranging and supporting Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) audit requests.
Support and manage DSI's Privacy Program initiatives including partnering with business functions to develop operational instructions for specific data sets to ensure controls exist for use, sharing, and collection of personally identifiable data (PPI); develop and support role-specific training for data owners; support and develop and maintain data inventory and classification including process to track data collection initiatives; support data breach process.
Support the US Corporate Compliance Program initiatives including providing support for corporate compliance program training, communications, policy and monitoring activities.
