EGL Genetic Diagnostics LLC is searching for a Managed Care Coordinator in Tucker, GA.

Managed Care Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Assist EGL's leadership with building short-term and long-term strategy around payer relations and serve as a liaison between EGL leadership and payers
  • Design and provide periodic reporting/analytical identifying payer trends and individual claims concerns
  • Manage all credentialing efforts and processes including submission of credentialing applications and resolution of any issue that prevent EGL from obtaining approval to participate in payer network
  • Manage payer contract reviews and negotiations, including annual renewals
  • Maintain a record of all licenses, certifications, and keep up-to-date with continued reporting and training requirements by various payers
  • Keep up-to-date on all industry trends and developments with regards to CPT/ICD10 coding and impact on EGL
  • Partner with EGL Billing department to ensure that the fee schedules and coding is current in EGL's systems
The ideal candidate would possess :
  • Experience with credentialing process required
  • Confidence to build and maintain rapport with representatives of a payer at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel required.
  • Ability to analyze data and build reports with minimal supervision
  • Medical billing certification or degree, preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company; be attentive to detail and see the big picture
  • Strong systems skills & extensive experience with MS Excel is required
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have 5 to 10 years of experience directly related to the responsibilities described above
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
This is a full time position (normal hours of Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) that involves building and maintaining EGL's relations with 3rd party payers, including various insurance plans, State Medicaid programs, Medicare, and Tricare.
