Basic Job Functions:
- Create an efficient cleaning routine to upkeep and maintain cleanliness of plant, restrooms, break room, office area
- Recommend facility improvements that help cleanliness, functionality, and overall better quality for teammates' health and safety
- Finishing minor repairs
- Helping with facilities maintenance such as hanging things on walls, replacing light bulbs, etc.
- Collecting garbage and disposing of it properly
- Helping other departments with projects
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

- Previous maintenance utility experience, preferred.
