- Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial equipment.
• Fabricate parts as needed.
• Enter work orders, PM's and all other work completed into the EAM system. Submit daily EAM worksheet.
• Perform repairs and necessary maintenance on the building and facilities as needed.
• Perform the preventative maintenance procedures per schedule. Create work orders for issues found during P.M. inspection. Order/replenish parts used for repair. Keep unplanned down time to a minimum.
• Address safety issues as assigned in EHS management system.
• Assist with the installation of and movement of equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, i.e., SMED, Kaizen, 6S, Safety, GEMBA, Value Stream, environmental, etc.
• Administrative duties as assigned, i.e., ordering parts, e-mail management, on-line training, etc.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards.
- 5- 8 plus years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical & mechanical problems.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Able to read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficient in areas of pneumatics, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic.
• Experience using various hand tools, power tools, fasteners, mobile equipment, cranes, etc.
• Experience working on blanking and forming presses a plus
• Experience with robotics a plus.
• Ability to learn and use maintenance software to record daily work completed and order parts.
