This job will have the following responsibilities:
A growing consumer goods manufacturer located in the Atlanta area is currently searching for talented maintenance technicians. To be considered, you must have strong CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Systems) as well as knowledge of GMP's and performing Preventative Maintenance(PM's) on machinery. Your experience should include using technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot equipment. Equipment experience should include the operation of simple shop equipment (band saws, vertical and horizontal saws, drill press, mills, lathes, grinders) as well as the ability to troubleshooting and repair basic electrical systems and components (starters, switches, potentiometers, fuses, relays). In addition, experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems (inverters, motors) and troubleshooting and repair of electronics (level probes, flow meters, RTD's). Finally, experience with mechanical systems (gears, sprockets, bearings, bushings, seals, chain and belt drives, gearboxes) and hydraulic and pneumatic systems(cyinders, valves, manifolds, pumps) are all basic requirements of the role.
