WHAT YOU WILL DO AT SAPUTO

To perform this job successfully, the Maintenance Supervisor must be able to provide leadership and manage the daily activities of their work group on their shift. The supervisor must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Direct company initiatives within their areas of responsibility. Must listen carefully, speak clearly and decide quickly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure equipment in setting up, installing, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure working Safely, has Reliability, and ensure highest Quality systems are performed when completing tasks
  • Ability in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Ability in dismantling, assembling and installing industrial machinery
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints to job assigned duties.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists in solving problems.
  • adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Initiate effective lines of communication with co-workers, other supervisors, management and hourly employees.
  • Team player when working with production staff to insure common priorities and a smooth running operation.
  • Support the Safety, Quality and reliability processes, support quality initiatives by participating in daily GMP walkthroughs, area inspections and product audits.
  • Any other job task management assigns


WHO IS RIGHT FOR THE ROLE

Job Requirements:

HSD, An associate' degree (AA) from a 2-year college, technical school preferred and or equivalent work experience is required. 2 to 3 years work experience in a manufacturing plant working preferred with producing food products.

Must be able to pass mechanics test to be eligible

Reasoning Ability: The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The ability to troubleshoot, apply judgment to implement solutions to problems.

Computer Skills: Must be proficient in MS Office.

Work Environment:

Facility inside and outside, Hot/Cold/Wet environment, Is exposed to wet and humid conditions, outside weather conditions and vibration. May have to work with, or be exposed to cleaning chemicals requiring personal protective equipment i.e. goggles, gloves, rubber boots, etc.

The noise level in the work environment may be load and requires wearing hearing protection. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.

While performing the duties of this job, the Maintenance Supervisor is required to work near moving mechanical parts, electrical circuits/panels and fumes or airborne particles. Occasionally works in high places. Is exposed to wet and humid conditions, outside weather conditions and vibration. May have to work with, or be exposed to cleaning chemicals requiring personal protective equipment i.e. goggles, gloves, rubber boots, etc. The noise level in the work environment may be load and requires wearing hearing protection. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.

Work Schedules: You may be expected to work some weekends and nights It may include weekend days and/or Holidays, with a specific weekday, or rotating day off.

Physical Skills Required:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift, Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, twist, climb, kneel throughout shift

Ability to work in hot/wet/cool conditions, Ability to quickly access different areas of the building
