Job Info

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for facilities and equipment maintenance. This includes repair and maintenance of HVAC, building services, exhaust systems, and a wide variety of laboratory equipment. You will follow all safety and quality requirements, complete assigned work installing and maintaining equipment, facilities, and utility systems. This role involves weekend & holiday on-call and after-hours duty as needed.

Physical Attributes:

Regularly sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. Wear eye protection, safety shoes, respirators, and other PPE.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of trade school in a maintenance field. 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and blueprints.Proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and 6S skills.Proficiency with computers, including with Excel, Outlook, etc.Experience with soliciting bids and supervising/directing contractors and other technicians in completing work.Ability to accept direction and meet deadlines.
