• 2nd Shift Pay: $21.16 /hour (includes 8% shift premium)
  
• 2nd Shift Hours: 2:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. (Monday through Friday)
  

As a Machinist Technician at Caterpillar, you will:

• The primary role will be to load and position heavy fabrication metal component in robotic weld fixtures using lifting devices.
  
• Initial set up and operation of CNC and/or robot welding machines.
  
• Ability to learn and follow welding and/or machinist standard processes and procedures.
  
• Basic robot maintenance including but not limited to, clearing faults, resetting the robot, replacing weld tips, restringing weld wire, and rehoming the robot.
  

Basic Requirements:

• 6 months of previous work experience.
  
• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations.
  
• Willing and able to lift to 35 lbs.
  

Top Candidates will also have:

• Prior experience with hand tools or power tools.
  
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Heavy equipment machine assembly experience.
  
• Previous work experience operating an electric hoist to lift more than 35 lbs.
  
• Proven track record of good attendance and work history.
