Job Purpose and Reporting Structure: Under the direction od the Area Supervisor, the Machinist sets up and operates manufacturing equipment associated with Material fabrication.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of tasks associated which require knowledge of fabrication and processing techniques. tools, materials, machines and equipment
- Sets up and operates a variety of grinders, manual and CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Works from engineering drawings, rough sketches, manuals, or verbal instructions.
- Must be proficient in the use of measuring tools and equipment.
