Job description

The DAP plant in Tipp City, OH need multiple Line Operator's for our Adhesive products. The Adhesive side of the DAP Plant is Unionized by UAW. Available Shifts

• 1st-7:00am-3:30pm

• 2nd-3:00pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties safely.

• Monitors all packaging line filling equipment.

• Monitors all lidding equipment to ensure properly sealed containers.

• Cleans up spills on the line by using scrappers, putty knives and mineral spirits in accordance with plant safety policies and practices.

• Makes minor adjustments to fill and maintain tape on case sealer.

• Contacts maintenance of any packaging not conforming to standard due to malfunctioning equipment or the need for adjustments not normally performed by the Line Operator.

• Maintains paperwork according to line including but not limited to downtime, line checks and RAPCA recordkeeping.

• Maintains good housekeeping with equipment and work area.

• Reads thermometer for temperature reading for RAPCA recordkeeping.

• May be assigned other duties when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Physical requirements: Ability to stand for prolonged periods; occasional walking and sitting. Bending, twisting, climbing ladders, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to perform job duties in accordance with established safety rules
• Must be available to work 1st and 2nd shift

Pay & Benefits

1st shift- $16.62/hour

2nd shift- $18.12/hour
