Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our new Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)!

Licensed Practical Nurses use their knowledge of specific biophysical, psychosocial, and spiritual dimensions to perform and document thorough assessments of individuals in recovery from substance use, recognizing the unique needs of dually diagnosed individuals and special populations. LPNs make medical assessments, as needed. Throughout their care, LPNs establish and maintain collaborative relationships with the members of the health care team and provide care with kindness and sensitivity, preserving individuals' autonomy, dignity, and rights.

***This position is eligible for a \$5000 sign-on bonus***

***This position is eligible fore a \$3000 referral bonus***

The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Springfield, MA uses medication protocols approved by the Medical Director to ensure patients are safely detoxified from these substances. These protocols are evidence-based, and are implemented through assessment and re-assessment practices throughout the process.

Licensed Practical Nurses at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • At least one year of nursing experience (preferred).
  • Current nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration (required).
  • Commitment to consumer empowerment, growth, human rights, and community integration.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of DPH regulations.
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours (required).
