Provide administrative support to the Learning and Development team to support eLearning and instructor led training processes. This role will also work with other departments, including the Contact Center and Field divisions; to ensure training for Ashfield associates is available and current.

What will you be doing?
  • Manage and address inquiries received by the Learning and Development mailbox daily
  • Assist with reformatting training and instructional materials for classroom use, ad-hoc and/or independent study as deemed appropriate by the Learning and Development team
  • Assemble training materials and equipment for onboarding and induction, skills based, management and project training as necessary
  • Ongoing communication of training activities sponsored by Learning and Development to coordinate logistics with appropriate parties
  • Send notification to appropriate management team members to facilitate participation in various aspects of onboarding and induction training
  • Assist with updating and maintaining Learning and Development's restricted access network
  • Update and maintain resource materials on the Learning and Development site of Ashfield's intranet to include, but not limited to: calendar of events, announcements, training registration, resource materials and training tutorials
  • Assist the Learning and Development team with supporting Ashfield's Learning Management System (LMS) including, but not limited to:
    • Account administration of new hire, job change, and/or terminations
    • Data entry of exemptions, certifications and reconciliation
    • Communication of compliance reports and overdue training to ensure courses are successfully completed in a timely manner, and accurately documented
    • Download training history from LMS and store on the restricted access site
  • Process all paper documentation, maintain electronic training records, and file hard copies in appropriate file cabinet
  • Order supplies for department
  • Assist with coordinating events
  • Attend to other ad hoc requests from management as necessary


What do you need for this position?
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience as an office assistant or in related field is a plus
  • Strong computer skills, ability to learn new software programs, and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
  • Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
  • Must be flexible and able to adjust to ever changing priorities to accommodate the training process
  • Self-motivated and work independently with minimal supervision
