Cognizant is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer in Austin, TX.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering
• Primary Skill: Core Java, Selenium
• Automation 6+ years' experience in Software Development Testing with Strong business analytical skills to understand the critical business flows for an application
• Must have Hands on Experience with Java/Selenium programming and RESTful Web-Services testing using Rest Assured.
• Experience in designing and development Test Automation Framework from scratch.
• Must have proven expertise through extensive work experience in test automation scripting and strong debugging skills.
• Must have strong analytics, reporting skills and ability to communicate risks and issues effectively and timely.
• Should be familiar with design patterns and participate in architecture discussions with the development team.
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins/Kubernetes/docker and Maven.
• Should be familiar with any BDD and TestNG framework.
• Good experience in Agile Methodology, standard testing techniques and principles
• Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good to have:
• Exposure UI Automation using JavaScript/Protractor is a Plus
• Exposure to Performance Testing and knowledge of JMeter/ Gatling tools are a Plus.
