The EAP Lead Product Manager conceives of, develops, delivers, manages and assists in the sale of products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The EAP lead product manager will play an critical role in the evolution of the Humana's Wellness Solutions offering and, more broadly, in helping Humana deliver on its well-being centered mission. He/she will manage a competitive suite of EAP services offered to some of the most prominent Fortune 500 companies and will lead the creation and commercialization of new, innovative products at a time when the world needs them most.

Responsibilities include:

  • Discover, develop, evaluates new product ideas, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions
  • Conduct market research and extract insights to inform innovation pipeline
  • Develops design briefs for new product concepts, including specifications, business models to present a clear, focused concept for strategic consideration.
  • Accountable for the full end-to-end product lifecycle including strategic product planning, pricing, roadmap and execution
  • Define the core metrics that will inform the success of the product(s)
  • Once products are launched, monitor efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Partner closely with operations, vendors, customer success teams and/or enterprise teams, to drive the development and product lifecycle
  • Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
  • Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision
  • Performs analysis of variable factors necessary to determine the best course of action
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years EAP industry experience
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related
  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of health care experience
  • Ability to drive significant transformation
  • Solid track record managing products that achieved clinical and financial outcomes
  • Competence working on very large and complex assignments.
  • Strong ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity
  • Ability to adapt quickly and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with a variety of business leaders from operators, to physicians, to management
  • Both quantitative and qualitative analysis experience, with the ability to drive to trend identification and actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in digital health products
  • Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills
