$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS
($500 paid at 30 days of employment, and $500 paid at 90 days of employment)


Shift: 2nd shift

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Promote teamwork and positive moral. Substitute or relieve lower classification engineers as necessary.

• Direct and coordinate contractor activities as needed. Maintain proper inventory controls over engineering supplies. Obtain bids for equipment and supplies.

• Create and submit PO requisitions for approval and processing. Keep working area clean and free of obstructions of any kind. Must have his/her own basic tools required to perform assigned duties.

• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment, HVAC control circuits, commercial kitchen equipment (refrigeration), line voltage circuits, control circuits, hot water heaters/boilers, AV equipment, air compressor operation, energy management systems, and advanced icemaker and appliance repair. Install and repair flooring, tile, and wall surfaces.

• Advanced repair and maintenance on kitchen equipment, furniture, locks, laundry equipment, exhaust fans, and pumps via working with hand, power tools, ladders, electricity, machinery, hazardous chemicals in various areas ranging from slippery surfaces, confined spaces, loud noises, extreme heat and cold.

• Manage Synergy System; respond to, assign, schedule, and close and maintain system and work load.

• Continued self-development and development of team; Create, schedule and execute one training seminar available to the engineering team per quarter.

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

• Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader. There is minimal direct supervision.

• Must possess basic computer skills.

• Must have a thorough knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment such as chillers, boilers, water softeners, and refrigeration equipment.

• Must have thorough knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, maintenance of records of power, water and fuel consumption.

• Must have experience in office procedures, ordering materials, securing bids, and of city codes and other applicable building laws, building construction, blueprint reading, etc.
