Who We Are:

A multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, program managers, and technicians to develop spaceflight missions, spacecraft, spacecraft avionics systems, spacecraft payloads, and lighter than air systems. This position has the option of being a fully remote in the following states: AL, AZ, CO D

Objectives of this Role:

  • Perform design, analysis, documentation, verification, and test of embedded software for space applications including command and control, data storage, signal processing, communications, and fault detection and response.
  • Participate in the full software lifecycle development of high reliability systems for space applications; perform analysis and implement designs from concept to instantiation; work with team of engineers across the technical spectrum.
  • Provide technical and programmatic inputs to program management for schedule, cost, and technical accountability.
  • Contribute to technical and cost proposals for embedded software designs.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement embedded software systems.
  • Perform resource utilization analyses.
  • Provide input to cost, schedule, and technical status.
  • Perform integration testing on engineering and flight hardware.
  • Troubleshoot failures that occur during functional and mission simulation testing.
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering
  • 5 years: Direct experience designing software for high reliability embedded systems
  • 0-3 years: Must be an embedded systems designer/developer with strong software skills and understanding of software interaction with hardware devices
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required
