Job Title: Lead Application Developer


Location: Alpharetta, GA


Job Duties:


ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Application Developer at our Alpharetta, GA location. Responsibilities: Deliver complete front to back end applications, from the creation of prototypes, mockups from wire frames, to the functional code implementation. Assist the team in prototyping solutions and recommend the adoption of new technologies to continually improve the client experience. Coordinate the workflow between the end user, product owner, and developer, providing them direction and helping them solve critical problems. Cooperate with other developers in the process of building RESTful APIs. Create unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge. Work with the release coordination team in deploying application code to different environments. Assist the support team in triaging bugs and troubleshooting production issues as soon as they are identified. Create software documentation and update existing documents. Follow Agile/Scrum development methodology, provide daily stand-up, poker planning, development estimation and tasking.


Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus eight (8) years of related experience.


Work Experience:


Two (2) years of experience must include: Agile environment/Scrum framework; FrontEnd experience: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6, Angular, React, and Dojo frameworks; BackEnd experience: Java - JEE, JSP, Struts, EJB, MVC, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Hibernate; Application Servers including IBM WebSphere, Jetty, SunOne, and Tomcat; Web services including Restful and SOAP; Database experience including Elastic, Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MongoDB, MySQL, or Redis/Coherence; Queue Managers including Kafka/Zookeeper or IBM Infolink; and DevOps experience: BladeLogic, Jenkins, Teamcity, Hudson, Maven, Gradle, Ant, Containers and Microservices.
