Job Description

Responsible for preparing samples (i.e. homogenize, subsample, extract, digest) according to analytical SOPs using instrumentation specific to the department and analytical methodologies. You must understand and apply basic analytical chemistry principles. Make standards and reagents as required and documents work appropriately.
Reporting of various products, such as crude oil, fuel oils, middle distillates, petroleum and petrochemicals, LPG and LNG gases, etc., relieving ExxonMobil laboratory technicians on a rotating schedule.Responsible for conducting laboratory analysis (hands on working on the bench).

• Complete all laboratory reports as applicable.
• Understand and keep current with all laboratory analysis methods.
• Assist with the maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Understand and keep current with all laboratory safety and reporting techniques.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a temporary position for 4-6 months.
$20 - $30/hr

Qualifications

• High School Diploma ()
• 2+ years applicable industry experience working in a laboratory. ()
• Must be able to work in a laboratory setting with all chemical, petrochemical, petroleum products as well as lube oil and grease. ()

Licenses and Certifications

• Laboratory Lubricant Analysts (LLA-1) for OCM sector only. ()
