The Machine Operator supports the machining process of industrial ceramics by proficiently operating the required presses and machines. Performs machining tasks as assigned with minimal scrap and rework. Performs equipment preventative maintenance on a regular basis. Adheres to company safety protocol and machine safety requirements. Assists and instructs other departmental employees as directed.

We are offering a $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (paid after completing 30 days of employment)

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Operate all necessary presses and machines as directed with a minimum of scrap and rework
  • Assist with other production line activities where trained and as needed
  • Follow detailed parts routing instructions and ensure that the processing requirements in those documents are completed to the exact standards specified
  • Troubleshoot minor problems with the equipment
  • Inspect parts both visually and dimensionally, use proper measuring equipment
  • Perform testing and inspection of materials and/or parts throughout the processing sequence
  • Work independently and with other employees effectively within the Production Department

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year working with manufacturing machines and equipment
  • Mechanical ability and aptitude
  • Knowledge of product quality concepts and ISO principles
  • Ability to use measuring tools, such as micrometers, gauges and comparators

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
