Job Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Team member must be able to operate a floor jack and must be able to obtain a jack driver's license.
- Team member will be required to set up the line, bring product to the line as well as take out condemned product, and do all other jobs assigned by supervisor.
- Team member must be able to walk the duration of the shift, find all parts of the plant, and heavy lifting is required.
- Team member must be able to follow directions, have knowledge of cooler rotation, be able to follow safety rules, and must have the ability to work unsupervised.
- Team member must maintain a good attitude and be team oriented.
Education: Basic reading, general safety training, hand/power jack training, and safe lifting.
