What You'll Be Doing:

The Information Support Technician fills an important role within Helen of Troy's operations. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software; and determining and implementing solutions. If you have prior experience in an Information Support Tech. role at a logistics or distribution company, we encourage you to apply for this position today.

Information Support Technician I Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers in person, over the phone, via email, or by a support ticketing system
  • Work with vendors and internal customers to complete IT-related projects
  • Provision, install, configure, and maintain computers and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, network, and Internet issues
  • Prioritize and escalate unresolved issues as required to the appropriate IT Team members
  • Train clients on computer programs and equipment
  • Create, configure, update, and delete network user accounts
  • Maintain documentation of procedures, issues, and resolutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements for Consideration:
  • High School diploma or relevant experience
  • Preferred A+ and Linux + Certification
  • Ability to administer minor computer repairs and equipment ordering
  • Experience supporting hardware and software remotely and on-site.
  • Ability to navigate Windows 7 and 10
  • Ability to perform computer imaging
  • Experience with Microsoft OS and MacOS.
  • Ability to work label printers
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Physically able to lift 50 pounds
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be able to work 30 hours
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
