Summary of Duties:
The IT Support Technician 1 position works in support of general University classrooms, assisting with coordination activities of media services, such as videoconferencing, equipment scheduling and distribution, technical services, and production and presentation of audio-visual materials; performs technical support in the set up and operation of media equipment and systems and the production of audio visual, video, and media materials. This position requires occasional holiday, evening, and weekend hours.
Required Qualifications:
High school or GED and twelve (12) months of experience resolving customer issues OR equivalent education/experience.
Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Willingness and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Experience with videoconferencing production equipment.
Experience providing technical support for multimedia classrooms.
Experience providing basic IT consulting/customer service.

Monthly Salary: Range 42 | $3,401-$ 4,541 | (Step A through M). Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
