IT Support Engineer

Job Description:

Arrow Electronics is currently seeking a IT Support Engineer to work in our Arrow SaaS Media division.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Completion of incidents, service requests, and users creation/deletion, meeting or exceeding department standards for completion time and quality.
• Installations, tests and deployments of end user equipment, network, applications (Activating, OS/Software update, smartphone active sync)
• Maintain a secure environment for end users assets by monitoring and managing multiple security tools (Antivirus and encryption tools, etc. )
• Coordinates with vendors/external maintenance companies to perform purchasing, maintenance or installations of new/existing equipment.
• Develops guides, documents and reports related to IT assets, S\W and H\W inventory - recommend equipment replacements and upgrades.
• Assists in Office 365 security enhancement.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in Office 365 administration [Accounts creation-Sharepoint -Onedrive- PowerBI access]
• Experience in Windows10, Mac OS
• Experience in Office applications installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Networking - LAN and Wireless.
• Experience in Sophos end point protection and safeguard for laptops encryption
• Proficiency in investigating, diagnosing and solving laptops hardware issues in a timely manner
• Excellent Communication/presentation Skills - verbal and written
• Ability to support remote users.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Requires some afterhours support if needed (On-Call, projects, issues resolution)
• Boston area or surroundings residence.

Preferred Skills/Opportunities:

• Experience in AWS and Azure cloud Administration is a plus
• Experience in Windows server 2012/2016/2019 and Linux Administration is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor in Computer science/Computer Engineering or the equivalent qualification or experience.
• Prior experience 3 to 5 years in Help Des/ technical support role.
• MCSA/MCSE Windows10/Desktop Infrastructure certificate -preferred.
• ITIL foundation certificate- preferred.

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
