Are you our next IT Security Analyst Sr - Risk Management?

The Senior IT Security Analyst - Risk Management supports the Mosaic security strategy through the operations and management of an enterprise wide cybersecurity risk management program. Responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and influencing the management of information risks across the organization. Coordinates with multiple IT teams to facilitate corrective actions to maintain acceptable risk exposure.

What will you do?

• Perform focused information risk assessments of existing or new services and technologies, along with business counterparts.
  
• Communicate risk assessment findings to team owners and custodians of information risk "business partners," or information governance teams and information security teams.
  
• Provide consultative advice to information governance or security teams that enables them to suggest informed risk management decisions.
  
• Digest vulnerability reports and prioritize remediation based on prioritization matrices.
  
• Identify and facilitate implementation of appropriate controls to effectively manage information risks as needed.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve risk posture, developing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assessing the residual risk.
  
• Maintain strong working relationships with individuals and groups involved in managing information risks across the organization.
  
• Develop, distribute, oversee the recurring reports and presentations for IT Senior Leadership and key business stakeholders.
  
• Support the Mosaic security threat monitoring and incident response teams as needed.
  
• Support the Mosaic Security Architecture and Engineering teams as needed.
  
• Coordinate the classification, identification and ranking of 3rd party vendor risks.
  
• Other job duties and projects as assigned.
  

What do you need for this role?

• Associate's degree in computer science or related field with 5+ years of experience in information security, especially in an information risk analysis role is required. For those candidates without an Associate's degree or diploma, 7+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years and a relevant industry certification may be substituted
  
• At least one of the following certifications is highly desirable: CISSP, CEH, GCIH, GCFA, Security+, OSCP
  
• 5+ years of experience in information security, especially in an information risk analysis role
  
• 5+ years of experience in a risk management and/or IT audit role
  
• Understanding of vulnerability and risk management practices and tools
  
• Understanding of information security principles and objectives
  
• Understanding of network architecture and communication protocols
  
• Understanding of malware fundamentals and preventive measures
  
• Understanding of Intrusion detection principles and signature development
  
• Fundamental understanding of enterprise level technology connectivity and operations
  
• Strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation communication skills
  
• Ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  
• Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
  
• Demonstrated problem solving techniques and strong analytical skills
