The Information Security Analyst is primarily responsible for the monitoring of the company infrastructure (including networks, hardware, and software) and responding to illicit behavior. They will work closely with the IT team and business units to assess risk and remediate vulnerabilities. This role will also work on security projects and help with documentation of security policies and procedures.

Here's What You'll Get to Do:

• Monitor for security issues including investigating and responding to incidents.
  
• Perform risk assessments on new technology.
  
• Vulnerability management through remediation.
  
• Document security policies and procedures.
  

• Keep up to date with latest security and technology developments.
  

Here's What We're Looking For:

• Knowledge of information security concepts and practices.
  
• Background in incident response.
  
• Experience performing risk assessments.
  

• Experience with vulnerability management.
  
• Strong organizational skills: ability to prioritize and follow through on projects.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent customer service skills.
  
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with supporting security tools such as Antivirus, Web Proxy, Email Spam Filters.
  
• Experience creating alerting and using a Security Information Event Management (SIEM). Familiarity with Splunk is a plus.
  
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory.
  

• Understanding of network protocols.
  
• Experience with Privileged Access Management system (PAM).
  
• Prior experience using an IT support ticketing system.
  
• Prior experience in manufacturing environment.
  
• Prior experience with compliance and regulations such as SOX or PCI. .
  
• Some travel will be required (10%)
  

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred - IT-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Information Security) or equivalent work experience.
  
• 2-3 years of experience in Information Security.
