RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Project Manager (Retail) in New York, NY.Key Tasks:

• IT Project Manager will help building and maintaining an opening/closing/retrofit IT checklist, that will be used as a template
• Be the main point of contact for the Business/Constructions teams for all IT aspects of the store project
• Provide status update and communicate IT timeline and constraints to any level of the company upon request or when deemed necessary
• As an IT Project Manager, you will manage vendors relationships for IT contracts at the store location
• Help to build IT budget and work with the IT & Security Manager for (re)forecasts
• Follow closely and control projects charges

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience leading major IT store projects - openings, renovations, closings, hardware upgrades
• Strong technical knowledge to walk a technician through hardware setup and troubleshooting
• Experience with security and remediation for firewalls, systems, and cloud solutions
• Experience with payment processing, traffic counters, timeclocks, and other retail store systems
• Maintain documentation and changes
• Windows Administration - Active Directory
• Network Administration
• Good understanding and experience with the Windows Server and Desktop OS
• Strong understanding of networking and network services. (Firewall, DNS, Routing Protocols, TCP/IP, VLANs and VPNs, VOIP, SIP)
