The IT Project Manager - Level 1 is a member of the Project Management Office team reporting to the IT Director of Projects. They will play a key role in our digital transformation by leading specific projects from initiation through implementation including planning, scoping, analysis, design, development, implementation, and post-launch hyper care support. In addition, they will need to understand and assessing the changing needs of the business by analyzing the impacts of change, document communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capture requirements needed to initiate a change.

You will have an opportunity to:

  • Full project life cycle ownership: Develop and manage all aspects of project from estimating, planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues. Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities. Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
  • Gather data and analyze business and user needs. Analyze complex business problems and determine an IT solution. Identify and resolve project issues. Define objectives and scope of business system. Work closely with managers and end users to determine best IT solution.
  • Assist with developing project management and business analyst standards for the IT department.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management.
  • PMP Certification Preferred.
  • 3+ years of project management and business analyst experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • Experience establishing business justification, project budget, track spend and communicate project spend rates.
  • Experience working in a matrixed operating model and managing multiple stakeholders in IT and business.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator. Demonstrated ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
