Snap-on IT is looking for an experienced Contr act Administrator to join our IT group and p rotect Snap-on, the CIO, and I/T from legal risks and liabilities.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage contract compliance.
  • Draft transaction specific contracts and documents.
  • Update standard master agreements/templates as needed based on industry changes and experiences.
  • Negotiate pricing terms and pricing as requested.
  • Act as a liaison between I/T and Legal departments.
  • Manage physical and electronic repositories of executed I/T relevant documents regarding legal matters


Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team:

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience. Legal, Business or Computer preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts with solid knowledge of commercial and industry level terms and conditions.
  • Negotiates both complex and non complex IT and Non IT agreements including Master Agreements, Statements of Works, Swap Agreements, SAAS Agreements, Amendments, and other relevant documents
  • Coordinates contract activities, and maintains database of all contract related documentation.
  • Identifies opportunities to renegotiate vendor agreements throughout the life cycle.
  • Provides feedback to all Snap-on entities to identify and evaluates business risks in IT sourcing decisions, including software licensing, software as a service and software upgrade projects.
  • Ensures alignment with the Accounting, Risk and the Legal department requirements for management of statements of work, licensing and IT software and hardware schedules.
  • Maintains vigilance for IT contractual audits and compliance.
  • Must have a general understanding of contract law.
  • Must have good enough experience to recognize the imapct of contract provisions on these I/T support & development actitivities.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Must have at least 3 years experience negotiating with I/T suppliers.
  • Must be able to understand the impact of regional, state, & international tax laws on the structure of a contract to avoid undesireable impact on Snap-on.
  • Ability to work independently, plan and priortitize workload, and evaluate and make decisions effectively.
