We are actively hiring for an IT Audit and Risk Lead. Join us and support CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, in achieving our goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establish an Audit Oversight and Response program to ensure performance of all aspects of the audit response process.
  • Advise IT business partners, business executives, and program and project managers on risks, response options, and recommended actions.
  • Assist partners in the development of management responses to identified findings and action items. Communicate responses to audit and executive level management.
  • Collect and evaluate work product of IT Operations team and provide input to management for adjustments in evidence required to fulfill open findings / management response.
  • Build and maintain ongoing business and IT partner relationships.
  • Provide specialized expertise in processes as directed or requested by client organizations and executive management.
  • Support the development of the internal audit plan on behalf of IT Operations based on risks, open initiatives and consultation with audit.
  • Perform regular monitoring of program activities / health and report results to internal management.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the IT Operations function on all audit and compliance issues.
  • Find opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes.
  • Perform consultations on internal control environment or other special projects, as requested.

What would make us excited about you?

  • Solid understanding of CSAA IG IT processes, operating environments and/or regulatory frameworks
  • Domain expertise in IT audit methodologies, concepts, tools and objectives
  • Strong knowledge of major computing platforms (e.g., Windows, UNIX, AIX, Oracle, SQL, DB2), operating systems, networks, database management systems, telecommunications, internet technologies and cloud computing
  • Strong knowledge of technical security and controls concepts
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Shows respect for differences through excellent communication skills with people from an array of backgrounds
  • Ability to translate technology topics and audit issues into "business speak" to be understood by executives
  • Solid understanding of IIA and ISACA professional standards
  • Knowledge of established IT control frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, NIST)
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and analytic techniques
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study or equivalent, relevant IT work experience
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • 10+ years' experience in IT internal auditing
  • Data analytic experience
  • Preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Project Management Professional (PMP)

In compliance of Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a salary range of $136,595-$160,700 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 15% of eligible pay
