Job Title: Intern- Sanger Sequencing

Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Shift: M-F 9am-5:30pm

The Genetic Analysis team focuses on generating data for our customers using Sanger sequencing methods.

Intern Project Responsibilities:

Adhere to Safety Protocols, strictly follow SOPs and site trainer's direction in training, sample handling, project processing, and documentation. Maintain the cleanliness of work area, learn some of the basic sequencing and purification techniques and process customer orders. Work with our Team Leads to help improve and optimize our workflow. Help observe and track time to build efficiency into our workflows.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Biology or other related Life Science.

Pipetting skills preferred.

Ability to learn and retain new concepts.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
