Job Summary
Flagstar Bank is looking for an intern to join our Escrow-Escrow Analysis team over the summer. As a Flagstar Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of our Escrow-Escrow Analysis department. During this time, you will interact with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working alongside our team to learn our processes and improve efficiencies while expanding on the core concepts introduced throughout your college classes. Throughout your internship you will participate in multiple engagement sessions designed to enhance your career outlook, communication skills, and business knowledge.

Pay Range: Local Minimum Wage - $15.13 - $19.49

Job Responsibilities:

Process incoming mail (Kofax)

Complete daily tasks relating to escrow analysis requests

Perform Escrow Analysis and review exceptions relating to escrow balance shortages/surplus conditions

Review of exception reports

Duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent Required
  • Current college/university student or recent graduate pursing a Business Major preferred, preferably in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills, experience with sql reporting concepts is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable Home High Speed Internet required
