Job description

An intern summer experience requires a solid understanding of business needs, market dynamics, competitive positions, and the impact of technology within the markets. The job will require exceptional communication and project management skills including: objective setting, plan & milestone development, track progress and adjust plans as required, and deliver expected results in a clear and concise manner.

The successful intern will be able to work independently, organize and prioritize work, and plan and execute deliverables. In this role, the intern will have an opportunity to work as a key member of corporate development team and utilize MBA skills to help formulate strategic growth thesis.

Job Responsibilities


  • Generate and analyze research and data on target B2B markets

  • Perform competitive landscape mapping and analysis

  • Execute strategic and financial analysis of target companies

  • Present recommendations with action plans

  • Help corporate development team with advancing current projects

  • Communicate with senior business leaders in written and oral presentation formats


Qualifications Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree - Engineering/Science preferred; pursuing an MBA required

  • 2+ years' strategy, operations, investment banking/research, or private equity experience (industrial or software sectors preferred)

  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of Business-to-Business technology markets and the value stream down to the end-consumer level

  • Strong analytical skills; able to distill data into key insights

  • Comprehensive understanding of valuation methodologies and strong financial modeling skills

  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Demonstrated ability to absorb complex technical concepts, and translate them into plain language and insights
