The Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging (KIHA) brings together key strengths from around campus and the region to address growing needs here in Denver and throughout the nation. Designed to address complex problems in depth, the Institute builds on DU's dedication to the public good by supporting research and scholarship on aging in a variety of disciplines. Lab scientists, social workers, psychologists, lawyers, education specialists, business faculty members, and others are routinely involved. Position Summary
The Intergenerational Program Coordinator at KIHA will work under the direction of Dr. Leslie Hasche to coordinate intergenerational programming evaluations and dissemination of outcomes. The coordinator will manage the day-to-day activities of this initiative that involves a research-practice partnership with collaborating organizations through LinkAGES Colorado. LinkAGES Colorado is an intergenerational initiative with the vision of creating a culture of respect for elders through long term sustained relationships across ages. LinkAGES Colorado is a collaborative effort comprised of community-based organizations providing services and housing across ages. The Intergenerational Program Coordinator will meet with LinkAGES Program Partners for recruitment of research participants, for data collection and management, and ensure compliance with Institutional Review Board human subject protocols. Additionally, the coordinator will supervise student volunteers and employees and purchasing request, such as study participant payments and reimbursements. They will manage communications, serving as a link between Dr. Hasche and various faculty, students, personnel, and the leadership members of LinkAGES. Given that this project is in its fifth year of the evaluation program, the coordinator will also assist in dissemination of outcomes through preparing community presentations, scientific reports, manuscripts, and funding reports.
This is a grant funded position. The appointment is until August 31, 2022 and may be extended based on performance and funding availability.

In office, 4 days/week Monday - Thursday; approximately 30 hours per week, with rare occasion of evening events or presentations. Hours can be flexible.

Hourly Range:
The hourly range for this position is $20.43 - $26.56.
