Beacon Hill Legal's client, an international insurance company, is seeking a Texas barred attorney for a remote Insurance Defense Attorney role in the Houston metro area. The attorney in this role will perform duties encompassing all aspects of insurance defense, including initial investigation and legal analysis and advice, preparing and filing legal pleadings and documents, performing legal research, preparing for and conducting pre-trial discovery, preparing for and handling hearings and negotiating settlements.

Project details include:

START: immediate hire

DURATION: 3 months, with the possibility to extend

RATE: dependent upon experience

HOURS: standard 40 hour work week (Mon-Fri)

LOCATION: Candidates must be located in the Houston, TX metro area. Although role will be remote, there is a possibility commuting on-site will be required for various meetings.

BAR STATUS: must be active and good standing with Texas bar
