*Job Description*


* Client HIS Consulting Services is aggressively building out a portfolio of industry leading on-demand education and we are seeking an ambitious and experienced Instructional Designer assist to us in delivering an effective and dynamic learning experience for our clients.

* You will collaborate closely with our Product Managers, SMEs, Training Department and in-house designer to create and implement an effective design workflow as well as optimize our content development process.

* You will lead the development storyboarding, scripting and development of e-learning materials working hand-in-hand with our internal SMEs, with input from the team.


*Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:*



* Create engaging online learning experiences and compelling course content that incorporate modern learning technologies and sound instructional design principles

* Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needs, determine the best training methodology to achieve learning goals per project.

* Lead the development of content that not only meets the learning objectives but also meets our premium content standards.

* Devise exercises and modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course and enhance the learning process


*Basic Qualifications:*



* Possess a bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

* Minimum of three (3) years designing and developing eLearning

* Minimum of three (3) years of experience with multiple course authoring modalities, including video, HTML5, Camtasia, SCOs such as Articulate 360 Storyline, Rise, and others.

* Knowledge of storyboarding, multimedia development, web/media accessibility and usability, digital video, prototyping and agile design processes


*Preferred Qualifications:*



* Interpersonal skills and judgment in order to interact effectively with a broad spectrum of people, both individually and in groups is required.

* Experience working on Healthcare content

* Excellent writing and editing skills

* Proven project management experience and the ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines.

* Recent experience in a range of learning environments designing for major technologies, platforms, and modalities including self-paced courses, virtual learning environments, instructor led courses, learning videos, and/or performance support.
