Compensation:

The Nebraska Department of Education pay structure will be increased by 4% effective July 1, 2022.

$23.680 - $28.407/hour ($24.627 - $29.548 per hour after July 1)

This range is based upon available budget funds. The selected candidate's skills, abilities, education, and experience will determine the salary offer within this posted range.

Examples of Work

  • Develops and maintains early childhood education training materials using a variety of software and tools (e.g., Canvas, PowerPoint, Articulate, Adobe Creative Cloud) and in a variety of formats (e.g., in-person, virtual, self-paced, hybrid).
  • Designs training objectives, content, assessment, and supplemental materials for courses in collaboration with internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Facilitates workshops and events for NDE developed courses (e.g., Safe With You, Early Learning Guidelines, Management Training Program).
  • Conducts follow-up evaluations of completed training to measure results; analyzes survey data and modifies programs based on evaluations.
  • Demonstrates commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of experience related to the essential functions of the position. Any equivalent education and/or work experience may be substituted in order to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience with instructional design for adult learners. Experience with software such as Canvas, Articulate, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
