Description: Our client is currently seeking an Information Security Risk Consultant to join their team immediately!

Type: Contract to Hire

Location: 100% Remote

**Please note that this position requires the ability to work W2 without sponsorship**

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Review of documentation and applying external knowledge, analyzes information to assess risk and identifies control gaps and opportunities for process maturity improvement
• Complete control and risk assessments to identify any risk or gaps
• Creates detailed documentation of processes, reports, graphs and data for multiple levels of process stakeholders in agreed-upon format
• Serves as an advanced level consultant and liaison to interviewees to provide consistency of contact, positive representation of Information Security, and confirmation that advisement is (a) regarded as standards of good practices in the industry and (b) aligned with enterprise and information security strategy and compliant with HITRUST
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of related professional experience
• Advanced level process mapping skills including the ability to assess internal and external practices anticipate future requirements and research and analyze emerging technologies
• Advanced level skills in interviewing, process evaluation and controls assessment
• Advanced knowledge of Information Security principles and technology services
• Advanced or specialized understanding of the HITRUST (HIPAA, HITECT, NIST CSF)
• Skilled at influencing and motivating individuals and teams
• Skilled at project management including the ability to track, facilitate, plan and organize work
