Basic Job Functions:

• Identify, develop and maintain scrap metal solutions for industrial manufacturers to include an administration, operational and marketing plan for each account
• Visit and entertain accounts to develop strong customer relationships and create business opportunities
• Address customer issues in a timely manner in relation to operational or administrative issues
• Ability to coordinate and execute across many different facets of our organization, including our down streams, steel mills, recycling yards, and brokerage teammates

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of marketing/sales within the steel or freight industry. Experience with customer development, negotiating and service within Industrial account management is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a business field
• Ability to interface effectively with customers/suppliers at all levels, both internal and external
• Ability to work autonomously and as a member of the team
• Ability to travel extensively within the US and Canada, and relocate for future opportunities
• Exceptional computer skills; specifically in Excel
