Primary Function of Position:

As the Inclusion & Diversity Analyst you will be focused on proactively analyzing various datasets to identify insights & recommendations regarding Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) at Intuitive.  This will span across every stage of the employee journey: applying for an open role, interview, offer acceptance, development & promotion, and retention.  Your research and analytics will identify areas of strength for us to amplify, and detractors that need to be resolved.  In this role, you will also help us establish an appropriate set of operating metrics that we track regularly and report out to the I&D Council.  You will support senior leaders and the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with reporting & insight.  You’ll have the ability to utilize existing data sets and create the foundation for what new data would be valuable for I&D.   

Job Description:

  • Manage and support Inclusion and Diversity strategies and programs aligned to our I&D mission, reinforce our core values and support business outcomes.
  • Analyze existing data and develop the quantitative analysis to identify trends and challenges with respect to diversity, inclusion throughout the talent lifecycle to inform I&D programs led by the business, ERGs and HR.
  • Partner with the business, ERGs and HR COEs in the design and implementation of solutions to address I&D opportunities, and core operating metrics.  For example, setting up Tableau dashboards for specific data to be available to ERGs.
  • Conduct research on key I&D topics, programs and initiatives to advance and support Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Develop methods to effectively measure and track progress against goals in the areas of I&D.
  • Create standard reports on diversity and inclusion metrics for internal purposes
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc reporting in relation to the company’s I&D activity
  • Establish external relationships through community building and sharing of best practices surrounding D&I initiatives
  • Promote teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, and collaborative approach to progress the company’s I&D efforts.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of information, promote data governance, and be a steward of ongoing improvements of overall data quality

Skill/Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Master’s degree in I&O Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Data Analytics, or other related field.
  • Minimum six+ years of related experience.
  • Proven capability in data visualization platforms – Tableau preferred.
  • Understanding of effective solutions to address opportunities within I&D across the employee life cycle.
  • Ability to communicate, verbally and written, to all levels of the organization on I&D, data analytics, and research as subject matter expert.
  • Must be highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Effective collaboration skills across differing business functions.
  • Track record of appropriate management of confidential and sensitive information.
