Job Purpose

A Site Warehouse Operator is the interface between AkzoNobel and the customer. A Site Warehouse Operator is expected to own an order from start to finish and be able to escalate concerns as required. The Site Warehouse Operator additionally impacts Inventory Management for the facility that they work in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unloading of shipments on assigned carriers.
  • Restocking home and flow rack locations as needed.
  • Understanding all warehouse functions of recceiving.
  • Pick assigned customer orders in an efficient and accurate manner to insure a high level of quality to the customer.
  • Support small parcel area to ensure timely, accurate receiving.
  • Support of processing of all segments of the return possible.
  • Provide operations support forDistribution Center warehouse operations.
  • Process all aspects of inbound deliveries, including scanner functions and labeling requirements.
  • Oversee and assist with picking and packing of specific inbound shipments.
  • Restocking as needed.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Pallet jack and forklift operation experience is preferred.
Distribution experience is preferred.
Knowledge of SAP preferred.
Warehouse Management functionality and bar-coding technology is preferred

Total Compensation

  • The hourly range for these skills is: $21.25 /hr + 4% Annual Bonus
