Accountabilities:

  • Provide training and consulting services directly to external clients, sales teams, and other support staff as required.
  • Share product knowledge and best practices with clients to advance and tune the customer's implementation.
  • Collaborate with, engage, and escalate to appropriate resources when necessary to get issues addressed regarding the training and configuration.
  • Keep implementation project plans and project documentation updated.
  • Participate in departmental projects that improve the productivity of the team.
  • Complete required training and skill development to improve job sills, meet team objectives, and otherwise support company initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a consultative sales style which while delivering business value.
  • Stay focused on revenue and remains willing to take the initiative to ensure that LexisNexis wins the decision.
  • Building on best practices for improved client satisfaction, while looking for opportunities and submitting ideas to improve team effectiveness and productivity in working with sales, clients, and technical teams.
  • Provide trends and ideas to management and product owners to consider in future products.
  • Serves as a mentor for other implementation consultants. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a fluent English speaker. Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Client Service Orientation: Ability to use data quality concepts and tools effectively.
  • Industry Experience: 0-3 years of industry experience.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to effectively set direction, align constituencies, and motivates others.
  • Planning & Organization: Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Presentation Skills & Communication: Advanced oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent ability to deliver client presentations confidently.
  • Problem Solving & Judgment: Strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to understand and think analytically about complex business problems.
  • Product Knowledge: Advanced in-depth product knowledge on LNRS products or strong willingness to learn.
  • Relationship Building: Relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate and interact effectively with internal and external clients including but not limited to sales, product management, engineering, network operations, and client support.
  • Results Orientation / Execution: Strong time management skills and strict adherence to timelines, with the ability to operate within a structured approach and to deliver results.
  • Possesses the ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently.
  • Self-oriented, establish stretch goals and working to exceed expectations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment, by soliciting input and feedback. Deals effectively with conflict.
Technical skills are preferred: Working knowledge and/or specialized understanding of 2 or more areas:
  • Software Development Life Cycle
  • Windows Operating Systems
  • RDBMS (SQL Server/MySQL) and SQL
  • Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • SOAP web services and XML
  • MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Programming (PowerShell, C#, python, etc.)
  • Producing technical documentation
  • Exposure to a software environment involving hands-on technical problem solving or technical implementations with clients.
