The mission of the Engineering and Physics department at Johns Hopkins is to provide support to the Radiology and Radiololgical Science departments on the main campus and outpatient centers.

As a Imaging Equipment Engineer you will provide technical and engineering support (hands on) for x-ray equipment to ensure safety and preformance standardards are met. You assess any issues/repairs prior to calling in outside vendors for repair.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Work requires a professional level of knowledge in engineering and preferably related to x-ray equipment in order that such equipment be maintained and operational in accordance with established safety and performance standards. Such a level of knowledge would normally be acquired through the minimum completion of a certificate or Associate's in an engineering discipline including military advanced schools.
• Any clinical engineering, maintenance or mechanical experience will be considered.
• Internships, hands on training, military, entry level, or clinical/biomedical background preferred.
