Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Tubular Products-North is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Human Resources Supervisor. This position manages day-to-day operations of our HR department serving our locations in Chicago, IL and Marseilles, IL and providing as needed support for our location in Gallatin, KY.

Responsibilities of the HR Supervisor include, but are not limited to: the full scope of oversight and compliance in HR functions related to hiring, training and development, HR team development, compensation & benefits administration, HR metrics & analyses, project management, employee relations, labor laws and regulations including Affirmative Action reporting, interpretation of personnel policies (i.e. sick leave, disability, FMLA, etc.) and efforts leading product group alignment in these areas.

This position works closely with the entire leadership team providing counsel and guidance regarding policies, procedures, state and federal regulatory compliance requirements, disciplinary decisions, language, and actions. The successful candidate must be able to understand our business drivers and work to develop goals that support our business strategy along with continuous improvement, creating an inclusive environment for generating innovative ideas, and most importantly respecting and valuing the diversity of our team. The HR Supervisor position will require approximately 25% travel (Marseilles and Gallatin). Minimum Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in HR, Business or related field

• 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in HR, Business or related field

• 5+ Years Human Resource Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment

• PHR Certification
