Purpose:Administers all human resources and office management programs in support of organizational goals. Duties:* Serves as primary point of contact for all employees and exempt level supervisors* In conjunction with Corporate Human Resources, provides counseling and resource assistance in the areas of policy, benefits, salary administration, training & development, and performance management* Ensures local, state and federal HR compliance* Creates and maintains personnel files* Initiates personnel actions using HR Systems * Recruiting -- posts jobs, sources and prescreens candidates, generates offer letters, partners with temporary staffing agencies, and coordinates external and internal job fairs* Time and attendance processing and auditing* Scheduling and tracking training hours for all employees * Serves as a beacon of the organization's culture and works closely with the management team to drive awareness and attainment initiatives* Advises all employees on matters of time & attendance, policy & procedure, benefits programs, FMLA, and Performance Improvement Plans* Participates in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives* Office management duties including but not limited to:o Vendor managemento Ensuring a safe and efficient working environmento Administrative duties* Various other duties as assignedPosition Scope:* Compensation/Performance Management* Policies/Legal Compliance* Salaried Exempt/Non-Exempt Recruiting* Training and Communications* Safety and Housekeeping* Employee Relations* HR Systems and Record-Keeping* Union Avoidance/Labor Relations* OSHA & EPA Compliance* Worker's Compensation* Local, State, and Federal ComplianceLeadership/Management Duties:* Supervise entry-level administrative staff up to 2 direct reports (admin assistant, receptionist, etc.)

Required Knowledge/Experience:


* 3-5 years of experience in office management
* 2 years of experience in Human Resources-related field
* 1 year of experience time & attendance systems, Kronos preferred
* 2 years of experience supporting senior staff in a corporate environment
* Proficient in Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Current, working knowledge of FMLA standards and practices
* Basic knowledge of recruiting and onboarding new employees

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:


* Bachelor's degree in Business-related field or commensurate experience in lieu of degree
* Human Resources (SHRM-CP, PHR) Certification
