Salary: $90,000-100,000
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager with experience in the manufacturing industry. Someone coming out of sporting event venues or similar large employee population facilities would also be applicable. This is a company with 900+ employees on site and they are in need of an HR Manager to work 2nd shift which would be roughly 3pm-12am but they are flexible on the exact hours. This would also require Saturday and Sunday work and days off would be during the week. They would like someone with strong employee relations and recruiting experience and it would be managing a team of 2-5 people.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Ensure employee relations principles are properly communicated and understood
  
• Interpret and apply Human Resources policies; aligns business goals with HR policies
• Manage recruitment, compensation, diversity, performance management, employee training and development.
• Develop, coordinate, and conduct HR training programs.
• Administer benefits open enrollment
• Assist General Manager and HR Director as necessary and requested.
• Coordinate performance and salary review process.
• Manage payroll and HR automated systems.
• Represent company in unemployment insurance claims.
• Manage Human Resources data retention process.
• Provide support for HR activities such as continuous improvement initiatives, affirmative action plan, integration, acquisitions, right-sizing.
• Act as coach/counsel at all levels in the organization.
• Participates and leads employee improvement teams to promote positive employee relations; promotes and encourages employee participation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Human Resources or similar highly preferred
• 5+ years as an HR Manager in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Large plant experience providing HR Support to employee populations in facilities with headcounts greater than 450
• Previous experience managing a team is strongly preferred
• SPHR or PHR Certifications preferred
• Bilingual and Spanish speaking is preferred
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and complete projects efficiently and effectively
  
• Ability to navigate through complex employee relations that build relationships and protect the company and employees
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law
• Good business acumen to understand operational and financial requirements
• Good functional ability on a computer, especially with Excel
