Position Purpose:
Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources function at the Lebanon, IN manufacturing facility.
Essential Functions:
1. Manage industrial relations activities including work rules, safety programs, attendance, and discipline. Establish and promote a participative environment and pro-active union avoidance program in Lebanon. Seek ways to expand communications and associate involvement. Manage salaried associate relation's issues.
2. Participate as a member of the plant management team to establish operating goals and implementation plans. Maintain awareness of all business issues to maximize contribution to the success of the plant.
3. Recruit and/or coordinate recruiting for all hourly and salaried positions. Maintain division policies for selecting quality candidates capable of growth within the division and corporation.
4. Provide orientation to new associates, both hourly and salaried. Implement training and development to support individual and business goals, such as quality, safety, productivity, and customer service.
5. Administer performance appraisal system and execute organizational development systems in coordination with divisional staff. Administer fringe and benefit programs for hourly and salaried associates. Administer corporate and divisional policies and procedures and meet statutory requirements. Develop and maintain ISO procedures for HR as required. Keep appropriate files and records, including payroll and attendance. Coordinate the plant's safety, Workers Comp, and loss control activities.
Education and Training
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, industrial/organizational psychology, or organization development. Master's degree a plus
• SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR certification preferred
Minimum Qualifications
• Broad knowledge in all key functional areas of HR
• 4-6 years of experience in a variety of HR positions, both plant and staff-level
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
• Strong computer skills required
• Active affiliation with appropriate HR networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement preferred

• Lifting 1-5 lbs.
• Carry up to 5 lbs. approximately 25 feet
• Push/Pull 1-10 lbs. of force 5 feet
