Position Purpose:

Perform and assist with administrative duties in the Human Resources Department

Essential Functions:

• Assists with the recruiting process for assigned positions. Reviews resumes for applicability, assists in writing job requisitions, contacts potential candidates, sets interviews, leads or assists with the new hire orientation process, ensures organizational announcements are completed.
• Creates and facilitates company mandated and other training modules to employees.
• Participates on Human Resources project teams and conducts research on HR issues.
• Assists with entering data and performing audits in the Human Resources Information System.
• Maintains a strong customer service attitude, enhancing employee relations and providing excellent service to internal and external personnel.
• Act as a member of various employee engagement committee's including: Wellness and Safety.
• Tracks and maintains training documents and records.
• Performs other tasks and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Enrolled student working toward a Bachelor's degree in a business related major, preferably in Human Resources.
• Minimum GPA requirement 3.0/4.0.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, strong planning skills.
• Previous work experience in HR, delivering training, or a business setting a plus.
• Knowledge of basic principles and practices of Human Resources a plus.
