SUMMARY

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual eager to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment and HR administration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Assist with the talent acquisition team and its recruitment process.
* Support the HR team in the implementation of HR initiatives and systems, such as job description development,
* Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources management.
* Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
* Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications.
* Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.

*Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*

This role is purely as an individual contributor.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

* Enrolled as a rising junior, senior preferred, undergraduate student.
* Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3.0 GPA or above.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Conversational in any other language preferred.

JOB SKILLS

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
* Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development.
* Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
* Basic understanding of business and employment concepts
* Good organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must sit or be stationary for lengthy periods while operating a computer as part of their job duties. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. This role requires specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. According to ADA regulations, reasonable accommodation will be provided to ensure that individuals with disabilities can perform the job's essential functions.

This is an air-conditioned work environment where employees have desks or cubicles and work in a fixed location. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

* ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
* Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
* Hearing protection in specific locations.
* Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
