The HR Coordinator supports multiple Human Resources Business Partners across a geographic region. This position is responsible for carrying out various HR programs and procedures for employees at a given DFA Dairy Brands location(s). This position executes day-to-day Human Resources operations and serves as a support resource for employees. Support may be provided in-person, by phone, and/or via email.

  • Support local and regional team in full cycle recruitment - sourcing, screening and pipeline management activity for various manufacturing positions.
  • Provides accurate, complete and timely employee data updates through the completion of the appropriate standard form. Updates may relate to new hires, terminations, employee job changes, department or work location changes, changes in pay, etc.
  • Schedules and delivers HR training and communication programs such as new-hire orientations, frontline annual wage increases, annual benefit enrollment meetings, and other employee communication initiatives as directed.
  • Administers recognition programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring maintenance of personnel files for current and former employees, ensuring compliance with internal document retention standards and external government regulations.
  • Directs employees, as necessary, to the appropriate internal/external resources for resolution of questions.
  • In coordination with the Leave Administration (FMLA, STD, CFRA, etc.) team, ensures that timely notification to the applicable parties (internal or external) is provided, the appropriate documentation is completed, and appropriate approvals are received. Prepare for Payroll amounts to be paid to employee during leave.
  • Provides administrative support for various HR programs, audits, and compliance. Assembles data and provides research support for Affirmative Action Plans, OFCCP Audits, etc.
  • Ensures that ethics & compliance procedures are in place and followed.
  • Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates' degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Prior experience with HRIS system and other HR technology preferred.
  • Previous experience using and administering ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and/or web recruiting systems is strongly preferred.
  • Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with others across levels and functions in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Travel may be required.
